Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect only what you send us or what's needed to run the service, we never sell it, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.

Who we are

Build Fast ("we", "us") operates buildfast.site and the Build Fast landing page service. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and brief forms: your name, email, phone number (optional), business name, city and what you tell us about your business.
• Account and billing (when you use a paid plan): billing name, address and tax details. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Content you create: the text, images and settings of the pages you build.
• Messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses, browser type and requested pages to deliver and secure the site.
• No advertising or tracking cookies. This website doesn't use analytics cookies, advertising pixels or third-party trackers. Fonts are hosted on our own domain.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare the landing page you asked for.
• To provide, host, maintain and support the service, and to process payments.
• To send service messages such as receipts, security notices and replies. We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting rules.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and for the legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:

• Cloudflare, for hosting, content delivery and security.
• Our email and messaging providers, to send and receive messages.
• Our payment processor, for paid plans.
• Government authorities, where Indian law requires it.

Some providers may store data outside India. When they do, we rely on transfers permitted under the DPDP Act and on contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and brief data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer. Customer data is kept while your account is active and for up to 90 days after you close it, except billing records, which Indian tax law requires us to keep for up to 8 years.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

• Give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Correct, complete or update it.
• Erase it, where we're no longer required to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Email help@buildfast.site with the subject "Privacy request". We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

All traffic to buildfast.site is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we'll notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

Children

Build Fast is for businesses and isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll also email customers before they take effect.
